About Us
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire - to be the best mothers they can be.

You take care of your children, mom. Who takes care of you? MOPS International encourages, equips, and develops mothers of preschoolers to be the best moms they can be. MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering matters" and understands that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical and formative years. On behalf of Abundant Life Baptist Church MOPS, we'd love to serve you this year and come alongside you to challenge you to grow and have fun with other moms who share your experiences.
The theme for our group this year is the HOME factor: BEGIN HERE...GO THERE. Three key elements of this theme to explore throughout the year:
- our homes are where we bond, cocoon, build inwardly,
- our homes are where we refuel so that we can live fully in the world beyond,
- our homes are a picture of Jesus' dwelling within us.
Our meetings focus on relating the theme through relevant speakers and small group discussion. Consider joining us on a Thursday evening to have a break and enjoy some time for you. We hope you leave feeling refreshed and better prepared to be a mom.
